AN INTRODUCTORY GUIDE TO LIVING IN TYRUNE

I. Joining
To join, you go to the rules section from the palace. The more you put into your information when joining, the more fun it is. It makes it even more realistic if you include a picture that we can use to represent you. Go all out.

II. Experience
Experience can be gained in many ways, which you can see while surfing through the site. As you gain experience, it can be used to gain levels or train skills. You spend experience much like spending cash (which is called Gald here). You just tell the care takers of Tyrune what you want to do with their experience and they will let you know if you can do it or not and update your character. Say you have 150 experience. And you want to get to level 2. Well, you tell the care takers of Tyrune that you would like to become level 2 and spend your 150 experience points. The 150 experience then goes into the total experience that you have used, and you no longer can use it to buy levels. You could also train your skills. These skills that you learn can be used in roleplaying. More on skills later.

III. Gald (cash)
Like other rpgs, you use Gald to buy weapons, items, etc. You can also win Gald through gambling on the dragon arena fights.

IV. Army
The army is a way for people to gain experience and skills, and to become part of a group. If you are a member and haven't joined one, you should so that you have a place to belong. As you gain experience in the game, you gain experience in the army. The more levels you get in the army, the more skills you'll get that will be helpful in role playing.

V. Skills
Skills are gained through jobs or the army. When you get skills, you may use them in role playing to fight better or do other things depending on the skill/spell. Skills are trained by spending experience points for each point of the skill you are training. The higher the percentage the more powerful the skill and the better chance of it working correctly.

VI. The Chat Room
The chat room is used for everyone in Tyrune to get together and chat. It can also be used to role play. When a lot of people are in the chat, a monster might enter the chat. When this happens, people may decide to fight it. If they do, then they will start fighting it and can use their skills on it. You can also challenge another player to a duel. When a monster enters, one of the leaders of Tyrune will keep track of the fight and award the players who fought the monsters. For a duel to happen, a Tyrune leader must be present or it does not count. Just don't attack others without challenging them to a duel and they have to accept the challenge. Challenges on Tetsu Doragon or Elrond will always end in injury status. They run this place after all.

VII. The Injury Status
If you get beat up bad in battle, you will be put on the injury status list. When this happens, you can not do anything except chat with others or play in the gambling area. Your name will be posted in an injured persons list and will be removed when you have recovered. You will also get an email saying that you are better.

Well, that's all we have time for now. We hope this helps alot.
